Nothing could be further from the truth. Otherwise, Greenspan's and other "Fed" chairman's actions could never illicit a response such as yours. Be as angry as you want, but, at least, direct that disgust toward the people who sold their souls to put over the biggest hoax ever on the American people, and the world. Of course, the original masterminds are dead, but we live with the burden of that legacy. The history of the evolution of the Fed is widely known, but one needs to seek out the evidence. Many books have been written about the subject including, The Creature From Jeykll Island, likely the most popular written on the subject. Below is a link to a video that is quite informative.
