Stock NeuroMaster BUY/SELL Signals V

The Stock NeuroMaster neural net model issued a BUY signal to close out our Shanda Interactive Entertainment Ltd (SNDA) short position for yesterday’s open. We executed that order @ $28.41 for a gross gain of +5.3%. Sweet! So far the model is 1-0!

Today the program is issuing two SELL signals for the PowerShares QQQ Trust (QQQQ) and Exxon Mobil (XOM).

iShares MSCI Brazil Index (EWZ): BUY signal on 1/22/08, entered 1/23/08 @ $66.11, recommendation to HOLD (current close @ $78.29, Gain +18.4%)

PowerShares QQQ Trust (QQQQ): BUY signal on 1/28/08, entered 1/29/08 @ $44.58, recommendation to SELL at open (current close @ $44.95, Gain +0.8%)

Exxon Mobil (XOM): BUY signal on 1/29/08, entered 1/30/08 @ $84.54, recommendation to SELL at open (current close @ $85.44, Gain +1.06%)

I haven’t been sitting still with these four symbols, I’ve been building more models using the SN system. I can build them faster and easier than ever before and make prediction with one click of a button. SN will never replace my love of RapidMiner but it has earned a place as a sharp weapon in my trading arsenal.

Just for kicks I built two models this morning for Martin Marietta Materials, Inc (MLM) and GeoEye Inc (GEOY). I did this because I’m on Maoxian’s freeloading Trade Idea list and Ugly seems to have a love affair (right now) with GEOY. Interestingly enough, a SELL signal was issued from MLM at today’s open while GEOY remains a LONG HOLD for the past 4 days (entered @ $34.58).

You can try Stock NeuroMaster yourself for free for 14 days. You can download it, install it, and build neural net models in about 5 minutes. I’m not kidding!
