I've temporarily closed the comments to non-registered users because of a problem with Akismet, the spam blocker plugin I use. It seems that there's some WordPress related worm going around causing a lot of trouble for blogs and coincidenltly I get a message that the Akisment server is not working correctly with my blog.
So, until things settle and I get to the bottom of this mess, comments are open to registered users only.
All fixed, things are back to normal now. Comment away, all 12 of you.
