Welcome to Neural Market Trends! I won an award a while ago, so I guess I made it? Anywho, I started this blog in 2007 and focused on writing RapidMiner Tutorial videos and blog posts. My blog got so popular that I eventually quit my job as a Civil Engineer to work for RapidMiner in 2014!

Yup, I’m one of the few people that actually parlayed blogging into something larger. Woot! Woot!

RapidMiner Years

I worked in Sales and Marketing at RapidMiner from 2014-2017. I wore many hats there but for the most part I was a data scientist/product expert. I had a great time, made many friends, and learned a helluva lot. I left in July 2017 start my own Data Science consultancy.

Neural Market Trends Years

Since July 2017 I’ve been helping RapidMiner using clients analyze their data, create models, and put them into production I also provide training services, for a fee, as well. Feel free to reach out to me if you need consulting services or want more educational help beyond what I share on my YouTube channel or on my Tutorials section.

I closed down my consultancy in September of 2018 and joined the ranks of H2o.ai! I couldn’t be more excited.

Note: the views I express here are solely mine and not of my employer!

Where to find me!

I have a Twitter, a Facebook page, and LinkedIn too. Connect with me there!

Last but not least, I also have a more personal blog here. It’s less technical and more introspective, I hope you like it too!

  2. Using neural nets in the field of marketing is very big because it helps companies figure out how to “upsell” more or what the right product mixes are. It is an interesting field, I wish you luck in your endeavors!
