I implemented Plotly as an alternative to generating simple stock charts. What takes 60 lines in Bokeh takes maybe 5 in Plotly. Now I have to figure out how to add my autogenerated support and resistance line work, but that’ll be for another day.
I also added a 20DMA and 50DMA. If I wanted to add a 200DMA I’d have to make these charts longer because my data feed (Alpha Vantage) won’t let me do using the ‘compact’ setting for chart genertion.
Also, I need to set a delay in my python script because hitting Alpha Vantage to fast ends up blocking me.
NVDA seems to be doing well. Anything technology will come out of this mess very strong. Sure there will be some bumps along the way. Earnings are probably going to be very chaotic, but in the long run I remain very bullish here.
Readers know how I feel about Healthcare, especially now. It’s only going to get stronger. It gets knocked down but it gets back up again.
CSCO might face some headwinds so I watch this company a lot. I have it in my wife’s IRA and she’ll get pissed if she loses a lot of money. So far so good but it pays to put a few ‘eggs’ in your basket and then WATCH the basket like a hawk.
